Brief Answer:
safety data not available

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion the dipep contains diastase, pepsin, lipase and papain. They are digestive enzymes usually given for indigestion, flatulence etc.
In normal conditions it is safe. Sometimes the additives might cause allergic reactions rarely.
In pregnancy the safety data regarding the pepsin and papain is not available.
So it is to be used when the benefits outweigh the risks.
Your treating doctor will guide you regarding the risks and benefits of this medicine.
As a general rule for my patients in my clinic i discourage them taking maximum drugs during early pregnancy but for folic acid and a few antiemetics.
Take healthy nutritional diet like veggies, fruits, egg, meat and fish. Adequate fluids upto 3 litres per day.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
Best regards....Dr.Srilatha
