Question : My son is having alcoholism withdrawal symptom. Can he have a sleeping aid like Unisom Diphenhydra, HCL 25mg x 2

In my opinion, he can take unisom or diphenhydramine for sleep. There would be no problem with a single dose for night.

But do inform the doctor about this when you meet him tomorrow.
