Doctor's reply to your question above...
Brief Answer:
Please upload sonogram report.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern.
I have gone through your query and would like to offer some information.
If you have always had a regular menstrual cycle and are sexually active, pregnancy is the first consideration in the current scenario. However, the beta-hCG titers are suggesting non-pregnant state.
Please upload the sonogram report if possible. If you are pregnant, it would be obvious.
Your doctor is likely to be planning to induce a period and hence the medication has been prescribed. It can be safely used even if you are pregnant.
If you are not pregnant, you will notice the period 3-7 days after completing the medication. If you do not see a period even if you are not pregnant, further evaluation is needed to assess the hormonal state.
Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

Polycystic ovarian syndrome
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
I have gone through the reports.
The ultrasound and beta hCG values rule out pregnancy completely.
The cause of your delayed periods is likely the polycystic ovarian syndrome, as there are polycystic ovaries visible in the ultra sound.
Periods are delayed in PCOS due to the hormonal imbalance, hence Duphastone is given to induce the Periods.
The induced periods are usually scanty, and the flow can increase in next 2-3 days.
There is no need to repeat the dose of Duphastone.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
