Question : Is it allowed to substitute eritl-ch 80 once day with telmichek'H containing telmisartan 40 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg twice a day as recommended by another doctor since it is not available in departmental pharmacy?
Brief Answer:
That also will work.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HCM forum.
The suggested change will not alter the active contents or total daily dose of the said antihypertensives. Both of them delivers 80 mg telmisarten and 12.5 mg hydrocholothiazide per day.
If you are comfortable with twice daily dosing, this need not mind.
Hope this will answer your query.
Take care.
Thank you.
