Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

It seems like the symptoms you are experiencing may be related to compression on the nerve caused by bulging disc in your low back.

The gabapentin can help with pain related to this. As far as numbness and tingling and it might be reasonable for your doctor to consider short course of steroids medication. The steroid medication might help decrease swelling and relieve some of the symptoms that you havedescribed.

I would recommend that you touch base with your Doctor Who might request that you come for a good physical examination. He couldn't consider alternate medication options including a possible short course of steroids medication such as prednisone which might help improve your symptoms significantly.

Thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
