Can Gabapentin Be Taken For Neck Pain?

Question : I have worn out joint facets in my neck and I have been prescribed Gabapentin. Is this the best drug for the pain caused through this problem?

Amongst the medicines available for the condition, 2 drugs are best prescribed. one of the 2 is gabapentin. the other is pregabalin.

the 2 are almost equally effective. I however prefer pregabalin in my patients. it's stronger than gabapentine.

so if gabapentine is not helping you much you can try for a prescription for pregabalin.
