Brief Answer:

A lowering of the dose may be discussed.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Tremor is one of the possible adverse effects of Gabapentin use since there is a complete improvement of symptoms, such adverse effect may be considered acceptable.

I think a moderate lowering of the dose (900 mg/day) may be tried to see if there is sufficient control of the symptoms and tremor regression.

These issues should be discussed with your son's Doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
