Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
hi and welcome.
well there is no need to be concerned at all. this is just irrational fear and anxiety and this is not uncommon especially when we know that all around us there are reports about hiv. but there is no possibility that you can be infected by visiting an official dentist If you have concerns about needle sterility or professionalism of the medical staff then you should report it to the dentist that performed the procedure and require explanations. If you will still be anxious about all this then you should do test 2 weeks after possible exposure. If you have any new symptoms such as fever, rash or swollen lymph node then you should consult your physician. Wish you good health.Regards

Brief Answer:
needles are always sterile

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I ve never heard that any needle was used twice since this is rule in medicine to drop out needles as soon as it is used. ANd always the new one is taken which is vacuumued in sterile conditions. So just relax, you were not at any risk for hiv infection
