Can HIV Be Contracted Through Infected Needle?

Question:
I went to blood test in dubai, i dint notice whether they have used new venipunture or used one, i am in tension whether i can get hiv from this. Please help

They are a very wealthy nation. It is quite unlikley that they would reuse needles.

Thanks for your reply Doctor, i agreed that its not possible to reuse, but my mind is not accepting this. Continuesly i am thinking about this

alright, then testing is your only option

Detailed Answer:
HIV testing is either for the virus or the antibody reaction to it. Either could be blocking the other (if there is a lot of antibody, there might not be any virus detected, but infection will be there; or if there is a lot of virus it can suck up all the antibody) Test for both 1 month after exposure and you can rule out infection. Hepatitis C is over 100x more likely to be transmitted.
