Question : Hi Doctor,

My exposure date - 22nd Dec 2016

- Kissing , touching cheeks , neck of girl of unknown hiv or std's status.

- Nude bath in shower and kissing her while bathing

- Sucked and licked her breast extensively

- Nude on bed , kissing and sucking bed and penetrated on bed sheet( no vaginal touch and lip locking)

- She had some dry scar or white rash at ribs near neck and may be by mistake i have touched from my hand or lips.

- uthera contact to bed and her leg or stomach

My test

Hiv 1-2 elisa - neg ( 15 days)

Hiv 1-2 elisa - neg ( 51 days)

HIv 1-2 Elisa CMIA ( Dr lal path Labs) - Non reactive 120 days - Value 0.22

Hep B & Hep C - Neg (120 days)

Herpes 1-2 - Neg (120 Days)

Vdrl - Neg (120 days)

Claymadia - neg (120 days)

My ongoing systems still now:

1) Feeling to Lump on throat
2) Mouth ulcers ( tiny yellow dot on side of tongue , coming and going ....coming very frequent when eating spicy food)
3) Mild Whiteness on side of tongue
4) head heaviness and mild headache
5) The most critical is Vibrating body during sleep overnight
6) Vomating Sensations
7) Hot Flashes (sometimes)

I had sex with my wife couple of times and she is also getting some weird symptoms .. are the worrisome:
1- Feeling sleepy all the time
2- Vomating sensations & uneasiness in sleeping.
3- Headache and pain in legs

My concern:

1) As doctors said , 3 months is conclusive but person must not have any intermediate exposure in between. I had couple of unprotected sex with my wife from my date of exposure to my test dates. Is that right to assume that sex with my wife has considered as exposure and cause any impact on my test results ? Is my test results of 120 days negative is conclusive or do i need to retest at 6 months?

2) Last time my hiv test value at 51 days was 0.07 and at 120 days its 0.22 ...... what does it mean that slowly my body is getting infected and reach to value of 1.00 after couple of months ? or its just a reference figure?

3) I dont have penetrated sex in my last exposure and with my test results do I need to relax and forgot all such fears and move on in my life completely unprotected with my wife ?

4) what would be the reason of these ulcers and other body discomforts especially ? specially vomating sensations , occasionally ulcers at side of tongue and body vibrations.

All such discomforts are written as hiv symptoms in most of the medical websites ..which is scaring me alot.

My wife wants to plan for another baby...should I proceed with upmost trust and confidence .Please suggest

Brief Answer:
Your reports are conclusive.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Following are your answers:
1. Having sex with wife is not considered exposure, as it is considered that she doesn't have HIV infection.

2. Your value should be within the reference range. The value can vary with each time you will get your test done.

3. Chances of contracting HIV reduces when you don't have penetrating sex. Since your reports are done, studies are considered conclusive. So, you should carry on with a normal life with your wife.

4. This is all happening because of anxiety. You should see your doctor and take anti-anxiety drugs for a few days.

Avoid alcohol in case you take. Go for walk and meditation.

Yes, you can proceed for your next baby.

This is my personal opinion based on details available here. Hope I have answered your query. If you still have any other query, you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.

Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for the suggestion.but read somewhere the vibration feelings are part of peripheral neuropathy and this is one of the symptoms of early infection in hiv patient.

Secondly and similarly lump on the throat is early symptom of Candida.

How to conclude its related to anxiety not because of hiv?

I had bad anxiety and fear of hiv from last 2 years but now m less anxious as compared to previous days, but lump in the throat and this feeling stated suddenly and its persisitant.

Pls suggest

Brief Answer:
You are panicking

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

See, peripheral neuropathy is a late complication of diabetes and remember it's permanent. It doesn't come and go as in your case.
Earliest sign of candida infection is white tongue and coating in mouth. Feeling of lump is throat is anxiety.

Remember, whenever you have anxiety, any symptom you will read about on the internet, you will find it in you. My sincere advice for you is to stop thinking about this. Meet your doctor and take a prescription for anti-anxiety drugs for a short duration.

You don't need any tests now.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Anxiety

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your symptoms are classically suggestive of anxiety. If you will follow my advice, you will be relieved very soon.

If you don't then you will keep on worsening without a reason.

You don't have HIV, if your mentioned tests are negative after 120 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Anxiety

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

See, you just have anxiety and not HIV. Your symptoms are increasing because you are thinking. Still if you want, get tested again.

The best way to fight anxiety is 1 hour of yoga and meditation.

I would recommend you medicines initially. Later they can be stopped.

Hope I have answered your query.
Good luck.
