Can HIV Be Contracted Through Non-penetrative Sexual Activity?

default
Posted on Mon, 2 Feb 2015
Question: I am a male and I recently visited a massage parlor, the guy first played with my nipples hard and then he started sucking for few minutes... I felt awkward and asked him to stop (I mean we did nothing more) when I came home I saw that surrounding my nipple... In the Areola region I had few very small non bleeding cuts caused by his nails .... Am I at HIV risk ?

Brief Answer:
Least or no risk of HIV transmission.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.

Skin is an effective barrier for HIV transmission.
As there is no bleeding or open wound , The chances of HIV transmission is less.
Just cuts without bleeding is not a risk.
Moreover the transmission by saliva is also rare.

The person may be negative too.

So I would rate this as least risk or no risk.
You can get back for any clarification.

If you are too anxious you can get tested for HIV depending in time since exposure.
