Question: Hi I m very nervous about 2 encounters I had been to massage parlour where I dry humping the girl was in panty and I wore cotton underwear and second encounter is fingering I have read on some websites that fingering has negligible risk however my fingers skinskin is intact and no lesions and hangnai so in my case it should be zero risk activity as virus can't enter from skin barrier secondsecondly my fingers had some fluid and I touched those fingers on my penis not on mucous membrane the penis skin was intact what are the of getting hic pls advice

Brief Answer:
HIV Risk is negligible only.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
Encounters with wearing underwear have no risk at all for HIV/STD. As you rightly pointed out fingering has negligible risk. Not having any obvious cutting or cracks over your fingers assured that your risk is almost nil. But very rarely microscpic injuries or cracks that would not be visible can not be ruled out. Touching the penis with with the fingers wet with secretions also has negligible risk only. Negligible risk means very very remote possibility, say for example the risk can be viewed as one in 50000 exposures.
Having a HIV test 3 months after the encounter and rule out this remote possibility will relieve your unnecessary mental tension instead of assessing the risk on line.

Thank you for your reply, my main concern was rash. The rash appeared on near the right shoulder, and it disappeared after applying ointment. That rash may be because of oil chemicals and dirty towel. I had been to massage parlour on 29th Feb, just took oil massage, nothing sexual. within a day or two days, the rash appeard near my right shoulder. It automatically disappeared within 2 days. Is ARS disappeared in few weeks? I had no other symptoms except rash. That rash because of dirty towel or oil chemicals? I've also heard that virus can only be transmitted through mucuous membrane like uretha, eyes or broken skin and wounds, which is actively bleeding. Since I've met none of these conditions the risk should be zero. I'm really sorry I don't have any doubt on your expert advise, I'm confused some websites like body.com or mehelp say that intact skin has zero risk as you're not exchaning body fluids. Do you know any infecting transmitted from fingering with intact skin? I'm really disturbed. Should Igo for testing or move on with my like. Pls advice

Brief Answer:
Skin rashes not related to HIV/STD

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Rashes over shoulder could be an allergic reaction to the oil or other applications. Not related to HIV/STD.
HIV can not spread without an exchange of body fluids. HIV infection can not occur through intact skin.
Nothing to worry. HIV testing is not absolutely necessary. Fingering with microscopic abrasions can not be ruled out by naked eye. So an element of remote possibilty is there and to rule out, testing is on the safer side and it would come as non reactive almost 99.9%.

Brief Answer:
All massage parlor girls are not necessarily HIV positive.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.
Don't imagine odd possibilities.
That girl was not necessarily a HIV positive woman. All the massage parlor girls are not HIV positive. Their health and life is very important for them. So they would likely to have more saftey precautions and periodic check-ups. Even if we consider her as HIV positive, during her periods she would have taken protection with napkins. No women would allow or like to have fingering during period time. But blood during the periods will definitely increases the chance of getting infection a little more extent if the woman is a HIV positive.

Brief Answer:
Chances of getting HIV through dry humping is almost nil

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
There would not be any chance for exchange of body fluids during dry humping with underwear on. HIV risk is almost nil with dry humping.
Not to worry.

Brief Answer:
HIV transmission is unlikely in this way.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back to HCM.
With underwear on, one can not penetrate into vagina. But can touch her genitals with double barrier. One wais her panty and another was your underwear. Without penetration and with double barrier, there could not be any chance for exchange of body fluids. In this way HIV transmission can not occur.
