Question : Two days ago I received unprotected oral sex from a woman who has hepatitis c and an indeterminate HIV test. What are my risks of HIV? Should I go for PeP?

                                    Brief Answer:
No risk for HIV.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Huplin,
Welcome to HCM.
The risk of getting HIV or other STDs from oral sex is very less because human saliva is not the fluid transmits HIV so don't get worried or anxious and absolutely no need to take PEP for your exposure.
Thank You

thank you. You put my mind at ease. One follow up question: the oral sex lasted for about 10 seconds only. does this reduce the risk further?

                                    Brief Answer:
It already carries less risk.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Huplin,
Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.
Oral sex already carries less risk independent of its time so be relaxed, forget about the incidence and move ahead in life happily with your family.
Thank You
