Can HIV Be Contracted Through Rashes In Groin Area?
Question: Hi doctor, I had a sex intercourse in Phuket massage centre with lady sex worker which is protected sex having male condom put to me, but I hada small rash line in between urinary balls and thigh. She moved her body near the bottom of mine and I feel her vaginal had touched the small wound line which was having cut like thin line to me. Now in worried whether I'm infected with any virus, plz help me whether I need to go for test after 3 months I'm really worried. From now on I decide will not do such mistakes and stick genuine relationship to my wife.
My wound was very thin line scratch which was due to itching which is due to beach water and climate humidity in Bangkok Phuket.

The chances of transmission of STDs like HIV by protected intercourse is almost nil.Some STDs like herpes simplex virus can be transmitted by skin to skin contact or kiss or as STDs.The chances are higher if there were active lesions during the time of contact. Here it is unlikely.
Scratch like wound will not transmit HIV.
You can go for HIV 1&2 RNA PCR after 10 days of your exposure to relieve your anxiety.
You can get STDs panel tests done too.

To briefly more on the scenario, I am sure confident that I had protected sex with condom. After sex, sex worker removed the condom neatly and made a knot to confirm it is not damaged. Then I had a bath. We even did not had a kiss.
My only concern was with the small cut wound which I feel May be her vagina had touched the cut wound skin.
For this scenario is it mandate to have a test done for HIV, can I remove this from my mind and can move on with my normal life. Please advice.
From this I realised the value of relation and will be genuine from on to my real relationship.
