Question : Hi i had during sex with a prostitute my condom broke, this happened i belive during the last 3 minutes. i ejaculated and than when i pulled out i realised the condom was broken. I am very worried at the moment about HIV. She said she gets regularily tested and never has unprotected sex. i do not have any sores or cuts on my genital area. What are the odds of me getting infected? i mean i have read that even if a female is infected it is still quite hard for a male to be infected through vaginal sex. please answer asap as i am very worried. Kind regards
Brief Answer:
the risk is very low
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
since the condom was broken you may have in contact with infectious material. Please keep in mind that the risk of transmission for vaginal intercourse is very low (less than 1%). So it is true that transmission is rare but possible.
I hope it helps!
