Question : Hi i had during sex with a prostitute my condom broke, this happened i belive during the last 3 minutes. i ejaculated and than when i pulled out i realised the condom was broken. I am very worried at the moment about HIV. She said she gets regularily tested and never has unprotected sex. i do not have any sores or cuts on my genital area. What are the odds of me getting infected? i mean i have read that even if a female is infected it is still quite hard for a male to be infected through vaginal sex. please answer asap as i am very worried. Hello,

since the condom was broken you may have in contact with infectious material. Please keep in mind that the risk of transmission for vaginal intercourse is very low (less than 1%). So it is true that transmission is rare but possible.
