Question : Four weeks ago, a droplet of saliva entered my eye(without washing it immediately), i was since then worried from contrating hiv this way( spit by a XXXXXXX man), the man spat on me went to get tested after that and was negative( he stated that he was not sexual active since three months ago) but i was worried about
The long incubation time and that if he is faulse negative? Can i contracted hiv this way? I was very paranoid because i got a cold(no fever, but sore throat , resolved in10 days), and night seats for two weeks(hope it was just snxiety),i was afraid it was ars symptoms, please help me out!

Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh Basti answering your query.
In continuation of answer given earlier.
Now the HIV status of the person is known that he is negative. Moreover he had no exposure past 3 months. So it is almost sure of negativity. There are no possibilities of test coming positive henceforth in him.
The symptoms as said earlier are not related to HIV.Sweats may be due to anxiety.
You are at no risk of HIV.
Just forget episode and lead normal life.
You can get back for any clarification
Thank you
