Brief Answer:
No worries for HIV and other diseases.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Dry blood after touching nose or mouth is likely a local irritation or a result of digital ( finger induced) trauma leading to such episode. It could be prior nosebleed mild in nature.

No worries if it was just one episode. Just keep the good nasal hygiene, avoid nose picking, if any other body part is not bleeding or there is no visible purpura / rash on the body then its not even a bleeding problem.

As far as HIV or other diseases are concerned, they should not even be considered with a dried nasal blood . Don't worry for that. Just a few drops of dried up blodo from nose does not make one HIV or any other serious illness.

If the symptoms persists get a local nose exam by a doctor and let them have a look, Till then, just make sure you nasal cavity is moist enough, use saline nasal drops and take good care of yourself and the baby. I hope it helps. Please don't forget to close the discussion please.
