Question : I am taking hydrocodone acetaminophen for pain and I am having a ct scan. Can I take loperamide just this once for extra precaution from diarrhea.

Hello

Thanks for the query

Hydrocodone and Loperamide when taken together might cause severe constipation. It is not an absolute contraindication. After taking loperamide if you do not pass stools for 2 days and there is bloating of abdomen associated with pain please see your doctor
