Can I Conceive Naturally At The Age Of 47?
Question: My AMH is 5.2 pmol/L, FSH 6.2 can I conceive naturally at the age of 47? Is my AMH low?
Brief Answer:
AMH is at low border line.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through your reports and I can understand your concerns.
The AMH(anti mulleerian hormone) used hot assess the ovarian reserve and it can be considered as a test for ovarian reserve. It may decrease with age naturally.
However in your case it is not severely low and you can even try to conceive naturally, if you fail to conceive you may require ovarian stimulation ot rarely IVF.
Hope I have answered your question.
Thanks

Thank you my progesterone was taken on day 21 of a 27 day cycle and came back at 27pmol/l it says it has to be more than 30 to ovulate. Do you think I have ovulated? I test with clearblue fertility monitor and it said I ovulated day 13 then I got my period 14 days later. Has this predicted ovulation? Thank you
