Better to avoid alcohol with first dose .

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Vaxirab is an antirabies vaccine... it acts by raising immunity against Rabies. Only immunosuppressive drugs are thetorically avoided with the vaccine(as they may interfere with drug action)
Alcohol does not have any action on immunity... so it can be taken after the dose of Vaxirab.....but yours being first dose ... you should avoid it so that any adverse reaction with the vaccine should be noted earliest &treated in time.(for example allergic reaction)
So it would be better to avoid alcohol intake after first dose.
