Question : If I get a confidential HIV test, will my autoimmune disease vasculitis that I am suffering right now, affects a false positive HIV test?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Most of the HIV tests are highly specific and the false positive results are extremely rare.
Autoimmune disorders can rarely cause false positive results in HIV.
Antigen detecting Molecular tests (PCR) will not show any false positive results even in the presence of autoimmune disorders.
