Question : Can I pass HSV-2 to anyone by sharing a towel, cup or other objects or is it only skin on skin contact with the infected area?

You can not pass HSV 2 by sharing towels or other objects. It is spread only by sexual contact or skin to skin contact.
Sharing towels,cups or other objects can't transmit HSV2. The virus is very fragile and dies soon after he gets on these objects.
