Question : About 10 days ago I was around a group of people and almost everyone has been turning up positive for covid - 19. Per CDC guidelines, I am quarantining myself but my workplace is requesting an approval from a doctor. Would you be able to email them approval that I am in need to quarantine?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per the COVID-19 related quarantine guidelines by CDC and due to your recent exposure to people with COVID-19, it is advised for you to quarantine yourself starting from date you had close contact with COVID-19 positive patient and until 15 days thereafter. If your most recent contact was 10 days ago, then your quarantine period will last for 5 more days. I am also attaching the link of CDC guidelines for reference.
