Question : Male 76. I'm kind of scared. Thursday – scratchy throat/cough, Friday felt miserable/aches. Got my covid booster Friday morning. Friday, Saturday, Sunday laid out on the couch. Felt miserable. Took my temp Monday. No fever. BUT --- just got tested positive for covid. Scared. Stupid question ----> If it was the kind of covid that would put me in the hospital, wouldn't I be a lot sicker by now?? It's been 6 days. Right now over all I feel pretty good. Just a little ''run down”' from all this. Still no temp. Can I relax or get ready for a rough time? Very worried.

                                    Brief Answer:
Doesn't seem something to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking.
I think you don't need to be scared .
The symptoms you had on Friday may be related because of receiving vaccine or because of having covid infection.
The covid symptoms vary greatly from few symptoms to coughing, fever , aches and pains all over body and pneumonia.
So even if it is covid19 you should not get worried because you are not having many symptoms. If you are not have cough, fever ,chest pain you should get relaxed because it is not likely to get bad.
Hope I have answered the question.
