Question : I have been recommended Ovral G as substitute of Progyluton which I was taking to regulate my period.
I could not ding Progyluton and was able to get Ovral G. Can I safely take it and my period will come as with Progyluton tablets. Please confirm

As you might be aware that the pills that you are taking currently are combination of two hormones, estrogen and progestogen.

Tablets Ovral G, also contain combination of the same medications.

20days on tablets, 7 days off tablets. Start on 8th day after Progyluton

Thanks for appreciating my answer and reverting back to me.

You are absolutely right, Ovral G contains 20 tablets.
I will suggest that you start taking the Ovral G tablets on the eighth day after you have finished your last Progyluton tablet.
Please take Ovral G tablets once at night for twenty days without missing it.
If you are planning to continue with the same in the future, then just have a seven days pill free interval, and then you can restart the new pack.

Thanks. I too it 5 days after I finish my period. This is what I saw on the leaflet.
I took three pills yesterday because I only received the OVRAL G yesterday.
I hope it works
