Question : Can I switch from augmentin to cephalexin caps for diverticulosis and how long must I leave before switch? On holiday island can't ring my doctor YYY@ XXXXXXX YYY

Hello,

If you have cephalexin caps handy then you can switch right away. If you cannot buy augmentin cephalexin should not wait. Sooner antibiotic administration will bring in better outcome than waiting. Hope you are not allergic to Cephalexin.

Once you go back to main land/doctor you should say about the switch.
