Brief Answer:
Can take the Excedrin

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Those dosages are not small ones so some care is needed. Certainly the answer would be not if you have some liver or kidney condition. If you are otherwise completely healthy Excedrin can be taken. I am not sure that it will be effective now though.

I am not sure whether by another 500mg of acetaminophen you mean in addition to Excedrin (which contains acetaminophen of its own) or if you are referring to the content of acetaminophen in Excedrin. If it is the first, additional acetaminophen, then I would say not to take it, you already got tylenol which together with the acetaminophen in Excedrin is enough, wouldn't add much benefit, only risk of side effects.

Let me know if I can further assist you.
