1. Morning Petoprozole 40, Telmasartan 40, Metroprolol 25, Urimax 0.2
2. Evening Telmasartan 40. Amlopidine 5 mg, Storvas 10 mg, Aspirin 75 and Urimax 0.4
Can i start taking Pentoprazole 40 mg and Itopride Hydrochloride 150 mg capsules called Pentate (it) as constipation is getting problamatic. Metamusil once a day is not working but get relief with Cremafin plus which is also getting less effective.

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Not worthwhile adding itopride to pantoprazole for constipation.
Not sure what is metamusil please send me its contents.
Try taking pegfiber 2 teaspoon at night for constipation and if required cremaffin plus as pegfiber takes some time to act.
Take high fiber diet go for regular walk as permitted by your cardiologist.
Worthwhile getting tsh and stool occult blood for 3 different days to rule out other cause of constipation.
also amlodepine contributes to constipation can check with cardiologist if he can substitute with other medication
wish you a speedy recovery.
happy to help
