No, it will not change the test results.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
The facts about your problem-
- Cu-T (IUD) would not change the test results because it doesn't contain HCG.
-There are chances of a pregnancy with an IUD. They are not 100% effective in all cases.
-It can be due to misplaced IUD you should consult your gynecologist and get checked for Cu-T whether it is there or not.
-There is no evidence that shows medical abortion would harm your health.
- Sometimes many surgical abortions are harmful and causes premature delivery in future.
- But it does not mean that you can go for future abortion also.
So in my opinion you should consult your gynecologist and get checked for Cu-T, whether it is there or not and go for an abortion as well.
Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
