Brief Answer:
Ibugesic can be given

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms XXXXXXX

If the fever is not getting controlled with adequate dosage of Calpol(Paracetamol): Dosage is 15 mg per Kilogramme body weight per dose, then I would suggest you the following

1. Syrup Ibugesic Plus: Dosage is 8mg per kg body weight per dose of Ibuprofen

2. Tepid sponging: After giving the above medication, after 20 minutes you can wipe his body with water at room temperature using a soft napkin.

I hope he is accepting feeds well, sleeping well and urine output is adequate.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take care

Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks doctor for your reply.

Yes he is breastfeeding and fever has come down.We had done blood and urine tests and everything looks normal. So diagnosis given by our doctor was viral fever.

Now fever has come down.Still rashes are there. Is it normal to have rashes with viral fever?
And how long should I continue Crocin drops?
Since rashes have come down but not completely gone shall I continue Atarax drops and Ritch cream?
Can I give bath to my baby if fever is gone?Soap usage can worsen the rashes?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Rash could be seen in fever

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Babies usually have some rash during fever. As the fever has subsided there is no cause for concern. There is no need of giving Atarax drops and Ritch cream.
Give Crocin only if there is fever.

Giving bath is very beneficial , as it will help clearing rash. Give oil body massage followed by thoroughly washing oil residue off. I would recommend Himalaya body wash and shampoo.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Brief Answer:
Give bath daily

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dear Ms XXXXXXX

I would recommend equal mixture of Almond, olive and cococunt Oil.

Offcourse you should be giving bath daily.
I would suggest the following

1. Massage the baby with equal mixture of Coconut Oil, Almond oil and Olive Oil.
2. Let the Oil stay for few minutes
3. Give bath to baby with Hot water(Not too hot): Use Himalaya Body wash over the entire body , Use Himalaya Baby shampoo over scalp.

First apply Body bath over front of body, starting from neck to toes. Rub it thoroughly to remove all the oil residue . Wash it with hot water. Apply once more the baby bath and wash it off.
Repeat the same procedure on back.
Apply Shampoo over scalp and wash it off. Two application will be required initially.

Removing all the oil residue from body is important to prevent rash.
