Question : I am taking ( 2nd day) tamsulosin for possible BPH. I also take amlodipine. Problem is that the tamsulosin seems to make my teeth hurt. Can I take ibuprofen to get it to go away so I can get to sleep?
Brief Answer:
Ys, you can take Ibuprofen with these medications!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thank you so much for this query.
Ibuprofen is a good drug for pain and can be taken alongside tamsulosin and amlodipine. However tamsulosin is not known to cause tooth ache and this is why we would need to probe further into what the possible cause is and more so if the pain persists.
I hope you get to catch a good night sleep. Take as much as 800mg of Ibuprofen if need be. Associating tylenol guarantees a better pain control. Keep me updated and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
