Can Lisinopril Be Taken For Breathing Problems?

Question: hi. I was put on lisinopril 10mg once a day today as I have high blood pressure. I also get out if breathe quickly while walking. will this medication help by breathing problems too? how long does it take for my blood pressure to get lower? I am notating in a chart my blood pressure every day to see if this is the right meds for me. thanks

Normally Lisinopril starts to lower blood pressure after the first dose, but its maximum effect is reached in 2 weeks.

I seem to get out if breathe about 15 steps into walking. I am not heavy. I do smoke electronic cigarettes. I hope the blood pressure pill helps with this

If there will be no improvement in a month, I would advise you to have an echocardiography done.
But most probably, there will be improvement with blood pressure normalization.
