Question: i had a shot of decadron mg and was given biaxm antibiotics 500 mg for sore throat, really bad cough, laryngitis , had for a week not getting better went to a walking in clinic that is what they gave me, intake lisinopril 20mg once a day, stay in bed all day about 12 noon i felt my heart rate increase took my blood pressure 164/85 heart rate 102 / my normal for the last month has been on an average 127/80/60 could the meds be causing this

The heart rate of 102 is not very high. So you need not worry about that. But the systolic blood pressure is higher than normal.

These may not be due to the medications you take.
Even simple anxiety can increase the heart rate and systolic blood pressure.

I would advise you to repeat the measurement after a few hours of calming down.
If they are still high, get an EKG done and consult your doctor.
