Question : Can Losartan 100 mg replace Valsartan 325mg that is being taken with Hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg Amlodipine Besylate 10mg for high blood pressure?
Brief Answer:
Can be taken
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Yes, this switch can be done. However I recommend monitoring of potassium and creatinine after a week as a switch from one ARB class of antihypertensive to another can cause increase in potassium and creatinine and dosage will require adjustment
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
