Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I understand your concern and would explain that the daily dose of Losartan that you are taking is really low. In fact this is the lowest therapeutic dose for this drug.
This means that the dose can not be reduced further, because it would have no effects on your blood pressure values.
Your actual blood pressure values seem to be within the normal ranges.
So, a possible option would be to stop taking Losartan. If your blood pressure get above the normal ranges (140/90 mm Hg), it will be necessary to start Losartan again.
Otherwise, there is no reason to continue taking Losartan.
I would also advice some tips to help maintain a normal blood pressure naturally:
- reduce salt and caffeine intake
- avoid smoking contacts
- perform a lot of physical activity
- try to lose some pounds if you are overweight.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regard,
Dr. Iliri
