Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.

MGA is used to stimulate appetite and also in the treatment of breast, endometrial cancers. Does she have any health issue?
If she does not have any other illness, I would prefer Cyproheptidine syrup with vitamins ( CyproBC) which is an antihistamine and an appetite stimulant. The side effect is that it is sedative and may increase sleep.
She can start with a small dose like 2.5 ml ( half a teaspoonful) with the supper and increase the dose depending on the sedation.

Do get back to me if you have further queries.

My Wife took a teaspoonful of MEGESTROL 400MG/10ML yesterday evening and it made her terribly sick. She could barely walk and couldn't eat anything at dinner.
Not even Ice Cream, which she loves. Please suggest another medicine she could
take in powder form to increase her appetite. Thank You

She suffers from Dementia and Memory Loss. She seems to do better with powder
than liquid. (I pour the powder into her yogurt.)

Cypro BC can be mixed with yogurt

Since she is unable to tolerate Megesterol, try Syrup Cypro BC. It can be mixed with yogurt.
