Can MSir Be Taken In Place Of Oxycodone?

default
Posted on Mon, 28 Dec 2015
Question: I am now taking oxycocone 10 mg every 6 hours along with fentanyl 50MCG/HR XXXXXXX MAL being changed every 72 hours. I also take daily Anastrozole 1 mg (generic for Arimidex 1 mg). My pain is worsening so my oncologist has taken me off the Arimidex for 2 weeks to see if the pain gets better and after the 1st week I can tell a difference. My pain specialist has changed my medication from Oxycocone 10 mg to MSir 15 mg every 6 hours, but am not going to change until my 2 weeks is up. Do you think this change will be the correct change my pain?

Brief Answer:
This change may be the correct in order to relieve you of your pain

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I think that changing the pain medication should be a good idea and might help in getting better control over your pain. At least there is no harm experimenting, rather it is more likely to provide benefit.
