Brief Answer:
Usually people cannot get mad cow disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you writing in healthcare magic.

You should know that usually people cannot get mad cow disease.
But in rare cases they may get a human form of mad cow disease called variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
Furthermore, the transmission could happen if you eat nerve tissue from which is formed and pituitary gland, (part of the brain) of cattle that were infected with mad cow disease. The consumption of products obtained from fresh bovine pituitary tissue ,should be approached with caution.

I hope my answer helps you.
Regards.
