Can Marvelon Be Taken For Emergency Contraception?

Question: have a question about a missed birth control pill, Marvelon, on july 6th.....took one 7th,8th and 2 on the 9th. Had unprotected sex on 7 and 8th. What are the chances of pregnancy? My wife and I do not have access to getting
an emergency contraceptive like Plan B. Would you advise taking 4 Marvelon
as an emergency contraceptive? Wife has been taking Marvelon for a year. Wait your email, XXXXXXX

I should add that my wife takes a 21 day Marvelon. She took her first pill on XXXXXXX 29th the first day of her last period. She could be ovulating 8th to 12th according to an ovulation chart if her pills did not work because of the missed pill on the 6th and not doubled up until the 9th.

Thanks for the query.
If she missed the pill on july 6th then she should have taken two the next day instead of waiting till the 9th.There is a minimal chance of pregnancy of course so she can take marvelon if she wants.4 now and 4 after 12 hrs.But i think that the chance of pregnancy is very less and if she had taken the pills regularly before then she should be protected.Missing 2 or more pills will not protect you from pregnancy.
