Question : I have being suggested MEFTAL P by my doctor , I am 33 years of age . I came to know that this tablet usually given to babies ? Please guide..

It can be taken by adults

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.

Meftal P can be taken by adults as well. The dose in adults would be 500 mg for both mefenamic acid initially and then 250 mg. If you are taking it to control fever you can take paracetamol 500 mg 3-4 times a day. Paracetamol alone has lesser side effectsss.
