No, Melanocyl ointment contains 8-methoxy psoralen which is a photosensitizer, therefore, if applied on lips, it may cause phototoxicity /blisters on prolonged sun exposure outdoors. This ointment is ideally used on covered body areas where you can control the duration of sun exposure.

I suggest you use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g. mometasone furoate cream. In addition, I suggest you use tacrolimus ointment. Both of these are prescription products.
