Brief Answer:
chance of seizures and breathing difficulties in your case

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing into health care magic.
This is Dr.Riyanka, glad to answer your query.

Methadone and tramadol when taken on the same day can cause undesired side effects like seizures and breathing difficulties. Taking it on a single occasion might not cause these symptoms in every patient but if you take it regularly then it can get hazardous unless prescribed by your doctors and dose adjustments have been made. 40 mg of methadone is a high dose and so is 100 mg tramadol.

Do not take these combination. Discuss about this with your doctor.
