Question : my expected date of period is 8th of every month last time it was on 8/9/16.on the next month of october i just missed my periods..on 20/10/16 through hcg test i came to know that i m pregnant.bt now i want to abort it.i am 24yrs.weight 55 and height 5ft.i want to take mifegest kit if it is now safe or not??our intercourse date was 20/9//16

Hello. Welcome to HCM. Thanks for writing in to us with your health query. I have gone through your health query and understand your concerns completely. Mifigest kit can be taken in your case but there is always a probability of excess bleeding. It will be advisable to take it under the care of a Doctor. Even if you take it yourself , consult a doctor if you have excess bleed and abdominal pain. Get an ultrasound done after abortion to see for complete abortion.Regards Dr Manisha Jain.
