Question : I was recently prescribed Oxycodone HCL and have read the side effects. One which concerns me is urinary retention. I experienced this when taking the antidepressant Tofranil, and needed to go to the emergency room for catheterization. I hesitate to take this drug fearing that since it happened with one drug, it may happen again. What is the possibility of this happening?
