rare side effect that would need to be reported to your doctor
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Pepcid has been associated with pale or clay colored stools in some persons but if this occurs, it needs to be reported to your doctor.
This pale or clay color of stool may be due to blockage of bile which is an uncommon side effect of pepcid.
Bile is responsible for the normal color of stool. It undergoes changes in the intestines.
If your stool continues to be pale, your doctor may consider a blood test looking at bilirubin levels and also liver function tests (these can sometimes be abnormal in conditions affecting bile flow)
Imaging may or may not be needed
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
