Question: I am taking fluconazole for a fungus infection in my elbow joint due to an ope wound, I ta cellsep for severe contact dermatitis , it seems the anti fungal cancels out the cellsep can I take prednisone like 15 mg to help manage the dermatitis while on the anti fungal

yes you can take prednisone for the dermatitis, but with antibiotics and also you can take fluconazole for fungal infection. But remember, prednisone can only be taken under doctor's supervision. Prednisone controls dermatitis, but it has a contrary action too. Since it reduces inflammation which is the natural response against infection, several types of infections can flare up. That is why it is better to give it under antibiotic cover.

It can also cause fluid retention and cause your blood pressure to go up. Drink cleaner water.
