Can Premarin Be Taken For Severe Vaginal Yeast Infection?
Question: I am being treated for severe yeast infection in vagina. The doctor put me on premarian which was very effective the first night. The second night I did not sleep turned and tossed. I have trouble taking medicines. What can I do? I am in great pain.

After a month, if the tissues are still raw, then the infection has to be very severe.
Apart from Premarin, please try Clotrimazole ointment locally too.
And a painkiller if you have trouble sleeping until Monday.
As a last resort, you may apply lignocaine jelly locally to numb the area.
