Question : My wife's Dr. stopped her celebrex as she had taken it for many yrs plus some mild angina. She could not take any other NASIDS (ulcer). Would switching to prevacid perhaps enable her to take something like ibuprofen?

Yes, lansoprazole (prevacid) can enable her to take NSAIDs like ibuprofen. She can start with a lower dose of 30 mg once a day and then increase it twice a day if the stomach pain/bleeding persists.
