Brief Answer:
You may, but dosage needs adjustment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

Usually, withdrawal bleeding ensues 3-7 days after completion of hormone treatment.

If you have used Primolut-N for postponement of periods and have not yet attained a period, you may continue with the medication for a further period, but you may need to step up the dose so as to overcome the possibility of any breakthrough bleeding.

Please do not pursue with the medication for periods longer than ten days so as to prevent side effects.

I will be able to comment further if you can provide me with details like how near you are to your natural period, if you have regular cycles and if you are on any medication and how many doses of Primolut you have taken already.

Hope your query has been clarified. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Please continue the same dosage if it is 5 mg.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing again.

If it is a 5 mg. dose that you used, please continue the same for the time period you do not wish a period to occur. Please do not use the medication at a stretch for more than two weeks as you may encounter side effects and hormone imbalance.

Hope this helps. Please contact if you need any more help. I will be glad to do so.

Wish you good health.
