Can Primolut-N Be Taken To Postpone Menstruation?

Question: hi, my wife has taken emergency contraceptive pills last week. we have a function in our home and wants her periods to be postponed. usually her monthly menstrual cycle would come in between 22 - 26.

please suggest is it good take primolut -N.if yes, please suggest dosage.

I can understand your concern, though.

Yes, she can take primolut-N for postponement of her menstruation.

Primolut-N can be taken 2-3 days before expected period date in a dosage of 5 mg twice daily (after consulting your treating physician because it is a prescription drug) and continue till the date do not want period.

The period will resume in 2-3 days after stopping the medication.

But in her case one problem is there as she had I-pill last week may be her menses will not resume within time because I-pill contain high dosages of hormone in it and it may change her period date.

So she should take primolut-n accordingly.
